Page added for Teardown of layout
This model train layout was inspired by our two vacation trips out West and is designed to capture that atmosphere and to
also offer play value. Photos were taken with an Olympus D-460.
The size of the original layout is now 10 x 22 feet since a two foot extension has been added and it has about 300 feet
of Gargraves track with 24 turnouts. Train control is by TMCC and/or conventional transformer with seven blocks switched by
one set of SPDT toggle switches.
A 16 foot by 10 - 7 foot addition has the track in place. There is a total of 40 turnouts and over 500 feet of track.
